CAREER SELECTION PLAN
We work closely with each student to help identify a career that is tailored to their strengths and interests.
PERSONALIZED DEVELOPMENT
An action plan created with the student based on their interests, goals, skills, and education. The goal is to outline and set career placement outcomes that may become achievable within a pre-determined time period.
REGULAR COUNSELING
One-on-one career counseling sessions are scheduled throughout the duration of the program to help further the student’s professional development process.
INTERVIEWING SKILLS
Mock Interviews ensure that students’ have the vital opportunity to practice and gain confidence in real job interview scenarios, thus preparing them specifically on what to expect from potential recruiters.
RESUME WRITING
Resume writing workshops and one-on-one review help students’ develop presentable resumes that standout and are consistent with industry formatting standards.
COMPUTER SKILLS
Computer skill workshops covering mainstream and industry specific software help our students stay ahead of technology standards.
NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES
TISOH is known for being well connected with industry. Our partnerships provide students with an abundance of networking opportunities with industry associations that may lead to future employment possibilities.
ACTIVE PLACEMENT
Through the CAREERsuite process, guidance counselors become familiarized with each Executive Diploma and Diploma student’s profile of qualities and strengths, while helping minimize any weaknesses in a concerted effort to help achieve desired placement outcomes.
