I have changed my life with TISOH! I am well on my way to my goal of being employed as a concierge thanks to the instructors and staff. I will be forever grateful to Debbie Brumfield for her support and encouragement of me. All of the classes were pertinent to the profession and taught in a professional and fun way.

You can’t help but enjoy your job when you have the ability to make someone’s visit special. Working in a hotel setting is never dull. No day is ever the same and each guest brings a different opportunity to make someone’s day.

As a part of the wedding industry, I have the opportunity to be a part of one of the most important days of a couple’s lives. Watching and helping their vision grow to fruition on their wedding day is amazing. I love that I get to teach what I love.

The Hotel Operations Certificate program is designed to provide comprehensive knowledge in front desk and hospitality operations, along with the required supervisory and communication skills to succeed in hotel operations. It is suitable for students with little or no experience, as well as for those seeking specialized knowledge for advancement to supervisory positions.

I can’t remember the last time I started a job that I was so excited about. I went into the class as a starting place for a career change and that’s exactly what it’s helped me do. So a big thanks to your staff for helping me in my new career.

As Past President of the National Association of Catering Executives (NACE) in Las Vegas, teaching at TISOH gives me the opportunity to impress upon the students the importance of professional development in the hospitality industry. In an industry where service is key, we must constantly challenge ourselves to make every event as special and successful as possible.

From weddings, conventions, food & beverage, human resources, risk management, tours, shows, transportation, arts and museums, nightlife and area attractions, we as concierges are the experts in the guest experience. Employees wishing to advance their careers will benefit from what TISOH has to offer. It will help to keep them ahead of their peers and, most of all, their customers.

It is important to the couples that their day run smoothly and it is my job to ensure that it does. As cliched as it may sound, I love making my couple’s dreams come true. That is what I do and that is what I teach.

I think that TISOH is a great way to meet new people, establish new relationships in the industry and, most of all, be around people who love the hospitality industry. What else could you ask for?

I’m really impressed by the passion of the students at TISOH. Enthusiasm and actively pursuing one’s true passion is halfway to succeeding in the industry.

I am thrilled to be a part of other people’s love stories and helping them to create wonderful wedding memories. Seeing a couple who I have grown close to over many months, in their moment on their wedding day, surrounded by all the things and people they love and who love them, inspires me to help other’s experience this again and again.

I'm really enjoying this class and I'm learning so much! The hands on training is wonderful and it's great that we have all the vendors teaching us as well.

I was so excited when I heard about TISOH and the courses offered. What a great way to start learning about event and meeting planning. I would recommend this course and school to anyone interested in the Hospitality Industry.
