ACCREDITATION: AN ASSURANCE OF QUALITY

The goal of accreditation is to ensure that education provided by institutions of higher education meets acceptable levels of quality. Accrediting agencies, which are private educational associations of regional or national scope, develop evaluation criteria and conduct peer evaluations to assess whether or not those criteria are met.

TISOH operates unique certificate and diploma programs designed to impart learning and build networking in a short period of time. The credentials awarded recognize rigor in the program and the reputation of the instructional team, administration and alumni.

Choosing TISOH is choosing reputation and quality. Beware of the many companies masquerading as licensed and accredited schools that offer “certifications”. None are universally recognized, as certifications are traditionally granted by peer-managed associations.

TISOH IS ACCREDITED BY ACCET

ACCET was founded in 1974 for the purpose of improving continuing education and training and has been officially recognized by the U.S. Department of Education since 1978 as a “reliable authority” as to the quality of education and training provided by the institutions we accredit. In 1998, ACCET became the only recognized accrediting agency to be certified as an ISO 9001:2008-Quality Management System, under the international standards established by the International Organization for Standardization, and continues to hold that unique status.
